Pluto is the 9th planet in the Solar System.
It has 1 moon (Charon). Although officially designated a planet by the IAU, some authorities claim that this should be regarded as the largest in a group of minor planets known as Kuiper Belt Objects. Don't confuse Pluto's moon with Chiron, a minor planet which orbits the Sun between Saturn and Uranus.
