Terms and Conditions

1. The Seller is defined as Geoffrey Lindop sole proprietor of LindopOnline and trading on eBay as astronews.
    
2. For the purposes of English Law, the point of sale is defined as Wigton, Cumbria and any dispute arising shall be resolved in the Magistrates Court in that town.
    
3. The Buyer should email the Seller before placing a bid if any part of the description or the terms and conditions are not clear.
    
4. If the buyer is not happy with the goods, a refund will be made using PayPal. An email detailing the complaint should reach the Seller within 14 days of the date of the sale and goods returned as soon as possible. No refund will be made after 50 days from the date of sale. The bid price (or the agreed price) will be refunded in full, but the postage and packing charge will not be refunded. It is the Buyer's responsibility to cover the cost of the return postage.
    
5. The shipping cost quoted includes postage, packing and insurance and is obviously slightly higher than the cost of the postage stamp. This price is considered by the Seller to be the most cost-effective. However, other options may be available and these should be clarified by the Buyer by emailing the Seller before payment is made.
    
6. Goods will normally be sent by first class post, unless otherwise stated.
    
7. Placing a bid, or purchasing an item implies that the Buyer agrees with these terms and conditions or any amended terms mutually agreed between the Buyer and the Seller.
